3 months. ive been living here, right here, for 3 months.
i have literally never ever realised that tomorrowland was featured in meet the robinsons. ever.

faith, trust… & pixie dust.
as you can probably imagine, working in the magic kingdom for just over two months, you’re gonna come across some pretty immense magical moments, which i have, & will probably never forget.
The most recent, and possibly the most awesome one to-date, however, happend about two nights ago, just as the Electrical Lights Parade (and what a good parade that is, the 1000th time you see it.) began. A bunch of us custodians in the west took cups of “pixie dust” (in other words, cups of mickey-fetti) out into the eagerly waiting crowd and starting seeking out children to help us with a “special task”.
The idea was, we’d give children a handfull of this pixie dust (which tinkerbell very generously donated to us for the cause), then we’d ask them to come into the middle of the parade route with us, and on our command, they’d throw it up in the air and all the lights in the kingdom would go out, and make wasy for the parade to come through.
So we go out into the crowd and do this, and as soon as kids heard that us, mickey & tink needed their help they were ECSTATIC. we had kids all over asking us if they could help and they were so thrilled to be apart of the magic! we had a huge group in the centre of the route and we listened for the cue and then finally shouted NOW and all at once hundreds of thousands of pieces of mickey-fetti seemed to explode into the air, from kids & cast-members (of course) alike. So the lights go out and everyone cheered and clapped, children were beaming, parents had tears in their eyes and cameras out, it truly was one of those moments that, even though you’re the people behind the magic, you can’t help get overwhelmed and wrapped up in the magic yourself.
it was an incredible moment… maybe not so magical afterwards when we had to pan & broom 3000 pieces of mickey-fetti off of the ground but it didn’t matter. we knew that we’d sent those children & their families home with a feeling that you can;t get anywhere else but disney, & a memory they’re gonna treasure for a long, long time.
it’s all very well having the magic made for you, but being the people to actually make the magic for someone else, & to see the effect it has on them… that’s were the real magic is.
so i’ve been very naughty & not vlogged in ages, but alas! here i am to repay you… with a video of me in my costume somewhere on disney property! not that i can tell or show you where abouts i am on disney property for legal reasons… but still.
